Vision

bitplanet started with a vision: to create a new kind of digital landscape—one where every decision counts, every input matters, and the entire experience is intertwined with the world’s most powerful and decentralized technology—Bitcoin.

This is not just another virtual landscape. bitplanet is designed to be a living, breathing ecosystem, one that evolves alongside its participants and grows with each interaction—a planet for the digital.

The First Iteration: The Grid

The first iteration of bitplanet is built on a pixelated map, a grid of 200x200 pixels, representing the beginning of a vast interconnected world. But these pixels aren’t just static points on a screen—they’re dynamic elements of a much larger system, each with the potential to influence the entire bitplanet ecosystem.

Every pixel is part of an on-chain network that is directly tied to the Bitcoin blockchain, ensuring transparency, security, and immutability.

Beyond the Grid

bitplanet doesn’t just stop at a simple grid. The vision extends far beyond that initial 200x200 map. Every pixel can contain its own system and inputs, being subdivided into micro-pixels with their own rulesets and ownership structures.

The first step in bringing bitplanet to life is the grid itself—a simple blank canvas. From there, bitplanet will evolve into a globe, a spherical world that synchronizes with live on-chain data. This globe represents more than just a visual shift; it will be a dynamic representation of the interconnected digital world participants are helping to create.
